Off track (2) ...

Good day peeps.

This is the second entry on my new excite. In actuality, there're lots of things that keep me amused. The excitement that come with them is irrefutable. I realised that I got distracted quite easily. Anything goes. yes, anything at all that keep me away from my thesis. My apology to Dr Bala for the promise. I'm yet to forward him the much touted Chapter 1. It supposed to lay in his tray by now since I last saw him a few days before the interview. The interview itself was on June 10 and today is July 20. Oh! My goodness! I'm way behind...time.

And, here it is. Here is the thing that keep me away from my thesis... here is the one who keep away from my study. This is the main distraction...that keep me away from my PhD!

And here is the floor plan that I've been working on day and night. A learnt architect might burst out laughing upon seeing my work. Nevertheless, I'm proud of it. It looks presentable to me. On whether it is workable or not, is another question.

Good day peeps.

It's been more than a month since I last updated this site. I was very serious when I first came back from Cyberjaya. I've been working and focusing on my chapter one, at least once a day. Alas, along the way, I was off track. There're too many things in my head. I was stuck at Fishbein attitude theory.

Now, my mind is on house floor plans, house design and everything about my dream home. I'm trying hard to focus. Will do. By the way, this is my dream home and the floor plan that I diligently created. Having zero experience in architecture, I stayed back late for a few nights and here it is.

A Day before the Big Day ...

Good day peeps.

A day before the BIG day was a travelling day. Hubby worked half day on that day. It was a very hectic day for both of us. He went to work early in the morning and went down to our own home to fetch the car. We needed that car for travelling a long distance. He came back at 11 in the morning for break. He went off again.

As for me, I was wide awake at five and couldn't go back to sleep. At seven, I was already sitting upright in front of the PC, trying my very best to complete the proposal. At the same time, I was hoping that my supervisor would reply my email and guide me through the stuck theoretical framework. But as the time flew, there's no glimpse of the replied email. I made up my mind. I scrutinised the proposal for the last time and printed it out.

Something struck me! I just couldn't print it out and staple it at the corner. It had to be bound and given a facelift; at least with a coloured front page cover with a transparent plastic to shield the rest of the piece. After a little contemplating, I rushed to town to have them bound; three copies altogether. And, thanks goodness! It was done in a short time.

By three, everything was set. We left home at approximately three in the afternoon. Even though the weather was scorching, there was a shower of blessing. It was drizzling for a few minutes. Hubby looked tense though. Most probably due to the rush and his hectic work.

After Four Years of Waiting ...

Good day peeps.

It came as a surprise. My heart leaped with joy. I could not believed my eyes when I saw this. It's too much to take in. It came after four years of waiting. It's too long a wait.

I was confused. I was worried too. I dreaded travelling long distance. Most of all, my hubby had to take a day off. He had to drive for approximately six to seven hours. It's a huge sacrifice from his part. No matter what it is, he's ever ready to do it. He agreed to drive me there - about 500 km away from our home.
